About This Project
This family home was in need of personalised updates, modern interest, and a touch of colour. We began by revamping all four bathrooms, creating serene, calming spaces with sleek, contemporary designs that flow seamlessly and share a unified aesthetic.
Phase two focused on transforming the entrance hall, staircase, landing, lounge & games room. To start, we replaced the old tiled floor in the entrance hall with a contemporary herringbone Karndean flooring, setting an inviting tone right from the moment you step inside. The traditional wooden staircase spindles were swapped for modern iron bars, and the rest of the staircase and internal doors were painted in dark, rich tones, offering a fresh and modern welcome.
In the living room, we introduced bead panelling to the walls, adding depth and character, and incorporated a spacious 3.5-meter corner sofa, perfect for family gatherings and cozy TV nights. Drawing inspiration from the client’s existing artwork, we selected colourful cushions to bring personality and vibrancy to the space, blending seamlessly with the sleek design. The fireplace brick was given a fresh dark update, and we enhanced the room with statement lighting pieces and mood lighting, elevating the atmosphere.
For the games room, we embraced a darker colour palette to create an exciting and dynamic space for family fun and entertaining. The rich tones and cozy ambiance make it the perfect setting for game nights and social gatherings, offering a vibrant contrast to the more serene areas of the home.
The result is a home that feels both modern and personal, effortlessly blending sleek design with warmth, comfort, and a touch of playful energy.
